Job Summary
Providing comprehensive treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy, the full-time Clinical Dosimetrist will coordinate dosimetry procedures remotely while ensuring quality assurance and proficiency in modern treatment planning techniques.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans for radiation therapy in collaboration with the Radiation Oncology team
- Perform radiation dose verifications and quality assurance measurements as directed by the Medical Physicist
- Maintain proficiency in treatment planning and delivery procedures, including 3DCRT, IMRT, and motion management techniques
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree is required
- Knowledge of radiation oncology treatment and imaging equipment
- Ability to perform multi-modality image analysis and patient-specific QA measurements
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist certification (CMD) is preferred within one year of hire
- No prior experience required
