Clinical Epidemiology Data Specialist
Job Summary
To provide insights into real-world data and epidemiology study concepts, the contract Clinical Epidemiology Data Specialist will work remotely, developing and executing data analysis plans while communicating findings to cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute data/statistical analysis plans for epidemiology databases, preparing relevant tables and figures
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on real-world data methodologies and coding algorithms
- Contribute to the design and critical appraisal of observational studies and protocols within cross-functional committees
Required qualifications
- MPH or MS degree in Epidemiology, Health Services Research, Pharmacy Administration, or related field; Ph.D. preferred
- 4-5 years of epidemiology and/or public health experience with a Master's degree or 1-2 years with a Ph.D
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, R, or related statistical software for data analysis and modeling
- Familiarity with real-world data concepts and extensive experience in manipulating and analyzing relevant databases
- Knowledge and experience in various therapeutic areas
