Analyzing clinical genetics data, the full-time Clinical Genomic Scientist will curate variants and genes, draft clinical reports, and support laboratory validation efforts in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Curate variants, genes, and gene-disease correlations following ACMG guidelines
- Analyze clinical genomics data and select variants for curation and confirmation
- Draft clinical reports and document data-quality findings and discrepancies
Required qualifications
- PhD or MD in clinical medicine, genetics, molecular biology, or equivalent; strong candidates with a Master's degree and relevant experience will be considered
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in variant curation or clinical genomics
- Familiarity with American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG) variant curation guidelines
- Knowledge of genomic variation and its correlation with human disease
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
