Clinical Informaticist

Job Summary

To support clinical operations, the full-time salaried Clinical Informaticist will manage the training and support of healthcare staff on Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, optimize workflows, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards while working remotely or from various locations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of informatics solutions to enhance system performance
• Provide ongoing training and develop educational materials for healthcare staff on EHR usage
• Collaborate with clinicians and IT teams to identify needs and customize informatics solutions

Required qualifications

• 2 years of higher education in healthcare, technology, or a related field; a bachelor's degree is preferred
• 3 years of experience in a medical/clinical setting or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of education
• Experience with electronic health records and clinical workflows
• Background in teaching or training new users on systems and processes
• Knowledge of informatics and experience with information systems preferred
