Clinical Informatics Decision Scientist

Job Summary

To enhance healthcare outcomes, the full-time Clinical Informatics Decision Scientist will activate and optimize a large-scale clinical data repository, serving as a bridge between clinical data assets and stakeholders while ensuring data accessibility and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert in clinical data and structure clinical data to address healthcare challenges
• Build and enhance a clinical data feature store, establishing standards and best practices for analytics and AI/ML applications
• Create and maintain comprehensive data documentation and develop reusable data assets for effective use by analysts and data scientists

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare analytics, or clinical data management
• Familiarity with clinical data types, including CCD data and clinical coding systems like ICD-10 and CPT
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale healthcare datasets
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably GCP and BigQuery
• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, or a related quantitative or clinical field
