Clinical Informatics Specialist
Job Summary
To support clinical practice, the full-time Clinical Informatics Specialist will provide remote assistance to clinicians in utilizing Epic, focusing on the integration and optimization of clinical technologies while working Wednesday to Saturday from 11am to 9:30pm PDT.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between clinical practice and Information Services, facilitating effective use of clinical information systems
- Support clinical caregivers in the implementation, learning, and adoption of clinical technologies
- Promote understanding and integration of information technology within healthcare settings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a clinical discipline, Information Technology/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent education/experience
- Two years of experience in a role with similar duties involving clinical information systems in a healthcare setting
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of the benefits and challenges of adult learning
