Clinical Informatics Specialist
Job Summary
Supporting clinical and interprofessional caregivers, the full-time Clinical Informatics Specialist will work remotely to optimize the use of Epic and other clinical technologies, with a schedule from Wednesday to Saturday, 11am to 9:30pm PDT.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between clinical practice and Information Services to promote effective use of clinical technologies
- Provide ongoing support and training for clinicians in the implementation and adoption of clinical information systems
- Facilitate the integration of information technology in healthcare settings to enhance patient care
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent education/experience
- 2 years of experience in a role with similar duties involving clinical information systems in a healthcare setting
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Understanding of adult learning principles and their application in training settings
