Clinical Informatics Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Clinical Informatics Specialist will serve as a liaison between clinical practice and Information Services, supporting caregivers in the implementation and optimization of clinical technologies while available to work Wednesday through Saturday from 11am to 9:30pm PDT.
Key responsibilities
- Promote the effective use of information technology in healthcare settings
- Support clinical and interprofessional caregivers throughout the care continuum
- Facilitate the learning, use, adoption, and optimization of clinical technologies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Clinical discipline, Information Technology/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, Communications, or related field, or equivalent education/experience
- 2 years of experience in a similar role working with a clinical information system in a healthcare setting
- Experience with EHR systems
- Understanding of the benefits and challenges of adult learning
