Clinical Informatics Specialist
Job Summary
To support the Virtual Clinical Informatics team, the full-time Clinical Informatics Specialist will promote the effective use of information technology in healthcare by acting as a liaison between clinical practice and Information Services, providing remote support for Epic utilization, and ensuring optimal adoption of clinical technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation, learning, and optimization of clinical technologies for caregivers
- Provide 24/7 remote support for clinicians and caregivers utilizing Epic
- Serve as a professional role model in integrating information technology within healthcare settings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a clinical discipline, Information Technology/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent education/experience
- 2 years of experience with a clinical information system in a healthcare setting
- Experience with EHR systems
- Familiarity with the benefits and challenges of adult learning
