Job Summary
Supporting and optimizing clinical systems, the full-time Clinical Informatics Specialist will lead informatics initiatives, configure clinical applications, and deliver training while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead clinical informatics initiatives to optimize EHR and related applications
- Configure and maintain clinical applications to align with evolving workflows
- Develop training materials and provide onboarding support for clinical staff
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Health Informatics, Nursing, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in clinical informatics, clinical application support, or health IT
- Hands-on experience configuring and supporting EHR systems, with a preference for Athenahealth
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and APIs
- Experience in translating clinical needs into technical solutions
