Clinical Laboratory Technologist - FL Licensed
Job Summary
Seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist - FL Licensed for the remote FISH Dry Lab, the position will manage complex laboratory procedures, analyze specimens, and ensure quality control while working Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday from 9:00am-5:30pm.
Key responsibilities
- Performs clinical laboratory tests and exercises independent judgment in the assigned specialty
- Maintains records for proficiency testing and analyzes specimens using approved procedures
- Documents quality control on reagents and equipment, addressing any deviations from performance specifications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related field with laboratory experience preferred
- 1+ years of experience in high complexity testing preferred
- ASCP certification for the assigned specialty is required
- Current FL state license to perform laboratory testing as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and quality control standards
