Clinical Laboratory Technologist - FL Licensed
Job Summary
To support a growing FISH Dry Lab, the remote Clinical Laboratory Technologist - FL Licensed will perform complex laboratory procedures, analyze specimens, and maintain quality control while working under general supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Performs clinical laboratory tests and exercises independent judgment in the assigned specialty
- Analyzes specimens using approved testing procedures and maintains accurate records
- Documents quality control measures and addresses any deviations from established performance specifications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related science from an accredited institution preferred
- 1+ years of laboratory experience, particularly in high complexity testing
- ASCP certification for the assigned specialty is required
- Current Florida state license to perform laboratory testing as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
- Experience with quality control documentation and corrective actions in a laboratory setting
