Clinical Pharmacology Director
Job Summary
To support a growing pharmaceutical pipeline, the full-time remote Clinical Pharmacology Director will lead clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics activities, contribute to drug development strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple ophthalmic programs.
Key responsibilities
- Lead clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics activities for various ophthalmic drug development programs
- Design and oversee nonclinical and clinical pharmacology studies, including first-in-human and ocular pharmacokinetics studies
- Author regulatory documents and respond to health authority inquiries regarding pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacology
Required qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, or a related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in PK, PBPK, PK/PD, and pharmacometrics, preferably in ophthalmic drug development
- Demonstrated leadership in pharmacometric activities across multiple projects
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical drug development processes and regulatory expectations
- Proficiency with modeling and simulation tools relevant to pharmacokinetics
