Job Summary
To ensure high-quality clinical resources, the full-time Clinical QA Specialist will monitor QA standards, support the clinical QA and Training team, and design new QA protocols while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the initial QA process for coders and provide feedback on coding error trends
- Conduct bi-monthly quality checks and maintain quality control activities, including tracking QA scores
- Collaborate with the QA teams to ensure adherence to policies and assist in resolving coding queries
Required qualifications
- Professional coding certificate through AHIMA/AAPC
- Minimum of 5 years coding experience with knowledge of Medicare and Commercial Risk Adjustment
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Commitment to patient health information confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
