Clinical Research Budget Analyst

Job Summary

Reporting remotely in a full-time capacity, the Clinical Research Budget Analyst will manage comprehensive coverage analysis and budget negotiations for clinical trials, serving as a subject matter expert while collaborating with industry sponsors and ensuring compliance with Medicare guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive analysis of clinical trial protocols and develop audit-ready billing grids in alignment with CMS rules
• Negotiate comprehensive study budgets and payment terms based on industry sponsor proposals and clinical trial protocols
• Contribute to the development of standardized procedures and metrics for clinical research budgeting and coverage analysis

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, business, healthcare administration, or related field
• Three or more years of experience in coverage analysis, clinical research coordination, or health systems operations
• Working knowledge of the Medicare Clinical Trials Policy and relevant clinical research regulations
• Demonstrated skill in using Microsoft Excel and Access
• Ability to communicate complex policy and financial information effectively to diverse audiences
