Clinical Research Finance Director

Job Summary

Providing operational leadership, the full-time Associate Director, Research Administration will oversee clinical research financial operations for industry-sponsored studies remotely, directing pre-award and post-award activities while ensuring compliance and optimizing financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities:

• Directs clinical research finance team activities, including supervision, coaching, and performance management
• Oversees pre-award and post-award financial operations, including budget development, invoicing, and collections
• Implements standardized financial processes and collaborates with various stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and compliance

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum seven years of experience in clinical research financial operations or related functions
• At least three years of leadership or supervisory experience in research finance or administration
• Experience with pre-award and post-award financial activities for industry-sponsored clinical research
• Knowledge of clinical research financial management principles and compliance regulations
