Clinical Risk Management Director

Job Summary

Leading Clinical Risk & Insights in a full-time remote capacity, the Senior Director will manage root cause analysis, systemic investigations, and clinical execution risk intelligence to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement across portfolios.

Key responsibilities:

• Set RCA methodology and investigation standards, leading complex investigations and coaching teams on systemic cause identification
• Own triage and executive escalation of significant clinical execution issues, prioritizing and directing RCA support
• Provide clinical risk insights and trend reports to leadership forums, influencing sustained change and embedding risk-informed execution

Required qualifications:

• Doctorate degree with 4 years of related experience, or Master's degree with 8 years, or Bachelor's degree with 10 years of related experience
• 4 years of direct managerial and/or leadership experience
• 11 years of experience in life sciences or a medically related field, including 8 years in biopharmaceutical clinical research
• Experience in clinical risk management or Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM), including study risk assessments and mitigation strategies
• Proficiency in analyzing quality event trends and operational excellence initiatives
