Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Scientist I - The Gene Team (REMOTE, USA or Hybrid).
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate medical literature to assess gene disease validity and molecular mechanisms of disease
- Assist with data analysis, compilation, and writing for public databases and research publications
- Collate information for gene-related and syndrome-related projects
Required Qualifications:
- PhD and/or MD in molecular genetics, human genetics, or related field; or MS in molecular biology with exceptional expertise
- Good understanding of scientific and medical literature
- Prior experience with gene curation or relevant genetics experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a diagnostic/clinical laboratory setting for MS; 5+ years preferred
