Clinical Systems Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Clinical Data Strategy Organization, the contract Systems Designer/Analyst will ensure compliance with common data standards in system designs, optimize functionality and data flow, and manage the design and delivery of clinical systems while working flexibly from various locations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development of common data standards and ensure systems designs comply with these standards and protocol requirements
• Accountable for the on-time design and delivery of new clinical systems and integration between systems
• Coach and mentor team members while leading innovation and process improvement initiatives within the Clinical Data Strategy Organization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management information systems, computer science, life sciences, or equivalent (Master's preferred)
• 6-7+ years of hands-on technical study build experience in EDC, with required experience in Medidata RAVE
• In-depth knowledge of clinical trial processes and CDASH; SDTM knowledge is also required
• Demonstrated ability to influence others and successfully coach/mentor in a matrixed environment
• Experience in designing EDC studies from scratch, including form layouts and query workflows
