Clinical Trials Billing Compliance Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Clinical Trials Billing Compliance Specialist will lead prospective and retrospective reviews of clinical trial processes, ensuring compliance with billing regulations and analyzing impacts to insurance and patient billing.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead reviews of study protocols, billing grid development, and research charge segregation functions
- Analyze compliance with CMS regulations through audits of Medicare Coverage Analysis and billing transactions
- Perform special projects related to compliance matters as requested by leadership
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant work experience in Research Administration, Clinical Trials Management, or Revenue Cycle
- CHRC (Certification in Healthcare Research Compliance) and/or CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) preferred
- Familiarity with OnCore Clinical Trials Management System strongly preferred
