Job Summary
Detail-oriented and organized, the part-time Closing Auditor will review client-level accounting and closing packages, ensuring accuracy and compliance, while working remotely on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Audit closing packages daily and update their status in Litify for timely processing
- Rename and upload scanned closing packages and checks to Litify and OneDrive
- Verify and record deposits in QuickBooks, resolving any discrepancies with trust account balances
Required qualifications
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with financial figures and legal documents
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Experience in a law firm or background in trust accounting preferred
- Familiarity with Litify or other legal case management systems is a plus
- Availability for occasional in-person training with prior notice
