Closing Operations Specialist

Job Summary

Coordinating and executing closings for the broker channel, the full-time Closing Operations Specialist will serve as the central point of contact for external mortgage brokers and settlement agents while managing late-stage closing bottlenecks and ensuring timely, accurate final documents in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for external mortgage brokers and settlement agents to resolve closing issues and keep transactions moving forward
• Balance final loan documents and settlement statements with title companies, identifying and resolving discrepancies before execution
• Guide borrowers through closing documents and facilitate remote online notarization to enhance the digital closing experience

Required qualifications

• Two or more years of loan closing experience, preferably in the manufactured housing market
• Experience coordinating with mortgage brokers, title companies, and settlement agents
• Ability to review and balance final loan documents and settlement statements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new technology
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant work experience
