Job Summary
Leading architecture design and technical governance for enterprise applications, the remote Cloud Application Architect (.NET/Azure) will manage solution architectures, mentor teams, and drive cloud adoption strategies in a contract-to-perm role.
Key responsibilities
- Lead architecture design and technology selection for Azure-based solutions while collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Design and govern solutions utilizing Azure services, ensuring application resiliency, scalability, and disaster recovery
- Define and implement DevSecOps standards, CI/CD architecture, and automated testing practices to enhance software quality and security
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications
- 3+ years of experience as an Application Architect, Solution Architect, or in a similar architecture leadership role
- Proven experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale Azure solutions
- Strong background in .NET application architecture and modern web application development
- Experience leading technical teams and influencing architecture decisions across multiple projects
