Cloud Architect
Job Summary
To support client needs, the remote Cloud Architect will design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions while serving as a technical subject matter expert for cloud services and collaborating with engineering teams on successful implementations.
Key responsibilities
- Design scalable and secure cloud architectures tailored to client business requirements
- Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud services, participating in client meetings and communicating architecture recommendations
- Support cloud migration initiatives, including planning, assessment, and implementation of cloud solutions
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering and architecture with a proven track record of designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions
- Senior-level certifications in multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, AZ-305)
- Expert understanding of multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures and cloud migration strategies
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including mentoring junior team members
- Experience architecting solutions in highly regulated industries, such as financial services or healthcare, is strongly preferred
