Job Summary
Leading the design and implementation of cloud-based data architectures, the full-time Cloud Architecture Team Lead will manage the Aviation Data Analytics Warehouse (ADAW) for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, ensuring the platform is scalable, secure, and reliable while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Define and lead the cloud data architecture and technology strategy for the Aviation Data Analytics Warehouse (ADAW)
- Design and oversee a scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing cloud-based data warehouse platform
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data engineering team while establishing standards for data integration and security
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and data platform development
- Knowledge of data warehouse architecture, data ingestion, transformation, storage, and lakehouse design
- Experience implementing cloud security, identity and access management, and role-based access controls
