Cloud Computing Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Cloud Computing Engineer Principal will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation technologies while ensuring compliance with federal policies in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams
- Implement and oversee CI/CD automation technologies for cloud applications
- Provide cloud support services and ensure optimal performance and compliance of cloud-hosted systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud architecture and Azure services
- Proven expertise in designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Experience with Azure security practices and compliance frameworks
- Advanced Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate are preferred
