Cloud Computing Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Cloud Computing Engineer Principal, this remote position will design and manage cloud infrastructure, develop automation technologies for CI/CD, and ensure compliance with VA policies while providing customer-focused support for cloud services.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams
- Design and implement automation technologies for continuous integration and delivery
- Provide support and manage permissions for cloud applications and services in VAEC Azure environments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related field
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure design and management
- Proven expertise in Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines and Azure SQL Database
- Experience with Azure security practices and compliance frameworks
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD practices
