Cloud Computing Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Cloud Computing Engineer Principal, this remote position will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation technologies while ensuring compliance with federal policies and providing customer-focused support for cloud environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow representations
- Implement and oversee CI/CD automation technologies and cloud security measures
- Provide support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments, ensuring compliance with Veterans Independence Program requirements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience with a proven track record in designing and managing Azure infrastructure
- Expertise in Azure services, security practices, and cloud architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, as well as containerization technologies
- U.S. Citizenship required for this position, with eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
