Cloud Computing Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Cloud Computing Engineer Principal, this remote position will design and manage cloud infrastructure and automation technologies, ensuring compliance with federal policies while providing customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and automation technologies for CI/CD
- Implement monitoring capabilities for cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance
- Provide cloud support services, focusing on setup, configuration, and provisioning of VAEC environments
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related field
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure design and management
- Proven expertise in Azure services and security practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, as well as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for Public Trust security clearance
