Cloud Computing Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Cloud Computing Engineer Principal, this remote position will design and implement cloud infrastructure, manage Azure services, and ensure compliance with federal policies while providing customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and automation technologies for CI/CD
- Implement monitoring capabilities for cloud-hosted systems and manage permissions across applications
- Provide cloud support services ensuring compliance with Veterans Independence Program requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related field
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud architecture and Azure services
- Proven expertise in managing Azure infrastructure and services, including security practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies, such as Azure DevOps and Docker
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance and U.S. citizenship required
