Cloud Computing Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Cloud Computing Engineer Principal, the remote position will design, develop, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with Veterans Affairs policies and providing customer support for cloud environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and automation technologies for CI/CD
- Implement monitoring capabilities for cloud-hosted systems to ensure optimal performance
- Provide cloud support services and manage permissions for applications hosted in Azure environments
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud computing, specifically with Azure infrastructure and services
- Proficiency in Azure services including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, and Azure networking components
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, as well as containerization technologies like Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service
- U.S. Citizenship required and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
