Cloud Computing Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Cloud Computing Engineer Principal, this remote position will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation technologies while ensuring compliance with federal policies and providing customer support for cloud services in the Veterans Affairs sector.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams
- Implement and oversee automation technologies for CI/CD processes in cloud applications
- Provide support for cloud-hosted systems and ensure compliance with relevant policies and frameworks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure design and management
- Proven expertise in Azure services, security practices, and cloud architecture
- Experience with database performance tuning and cloud cost management
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
