Cloud Computing Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Cloud Computing Engineer Principal, this remote position will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure and applications, ensuring compliance with federal policies while providing customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams
- Implement and oversee automation technologies for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
- Provide cloud support services and ensure optimal performance and compliance for cloud-hosted systems
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure and services
- Proven track record in designing and managing Azure infrastructure
- Experience with Azure security practices and compliance frameworks
- Advanced Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Security Engineer Associate
