Cloud Computing Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Cloud Computing Engineer Principal, this remote position will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure and services, focusing on automation technologies and compliance with federal policies in support of Veterans Affairs.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams for cloud applications and systems
- Implement and oversee continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) automation technologies
- Provide customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments, ensuring compliance with relevant policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Proficiency in Azure core services and security practices, including Azure Role-Based Access Control and Azure Key Vault
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD practices, including Azure DevOps
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
