Cloud Computing Engineer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Cloud Computing Engineer Principal will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation technologies while ensuring compliance with federal policies in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams
- Implement and oversee automation technologies for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
- Provide cloud support services and ensure optimal performance of cloud-hosted systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Expertise in core Azure services and security practices
- Proficiency in scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Strong understanding of cloud compliance frameworks and best practices
