Cloud Computing Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Cloud Computing Engineer Principal will design and manage Azure infrastructure, develop automation technologies for CI/CD, and ensure compliance with federal policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams
- Implement and oversee automation technologies for continuous integration and delivery
- Provide cloud support services and ensure compliance with Veterans Independence Program requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure and services, particularly with Azure
- Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale, high-availability cloud architecture
- Expertise in Azure security practices and core services, including Azure Virtual Machines and Azure SQL Database
- Advanced Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Security Engineer Associate
