Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Cloud Computing Engineer Principal will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring compliance with federal policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and automation technologies for CI/CD
- Implement monitoring capabilities for cloud-hosted systems to ensure optimal performance
- Provide customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments, including setup and provisioning
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure and services, particularly Azure
- Proven expertise in Azure services, security practices, and cloud architecture design
- Experience with CI/CD tools, containerization, and orchestration technologies
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
