Cloud Computing Engineer Principal
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs (VA) department, the full-time remote Cloud Computing Engineer Principal will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance and optimal performance while providing customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC) environments.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams
- Implement and oversee automation technologies for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
- Provide cloud support services and ensure compliance with VA/Federal policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure design and management
- Proven expertise in Azure services and security practices
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD practices
- U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
