Cloud Computing Engineer Principal
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Cloud Computing Engineer Principal will design and manage cloud infrastructure, implement automation technologies for CI/CD, and ensure compliance with federal policies while providing customer-focused support for cloud environments.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow representations
- Implement and oversee monitoring capabilities for cloud-hosted systems to ensure optimal performance
- Provide cloud support services and ensure compliance with Veterans Independence Program development requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related field
- 20+ years of professional experience in designing and managing Azure infrastructure
- Proficiency in core Azure services and security practices
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD practices
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
