Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Cloud Developer - Java, this position will lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise cloud applications, combining hands-on Java full-stack development with cloud engineering and technical leadership, with options for on-site work in Columbia, SC or remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, integration, and deployment of cloud-native and cloud-modernized applications
- Develop full-stack applications within Java/Java EE ecosystems, utilizing Spring Framework, JPA, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Support cloud migration and application modernization initiatives within AWS or Azure, ensuring secure application architectures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in application development or a related IT discipline
- Strong full-stack software engineering experience with Java/Java EE, Spring Framework, JPA, and JavaScript frameworks
- Professional experience within an Agile and Medicare environment
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, including application migration and cloud modernization
