Cloud DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support the migration of the American Forces Public Information Management System (AFPIMS) to an AWS cloud environment, the remote Cloud DevOps Engineer will design, build, automate, and validate AWS infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the migration process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure for AFPIMS applications and services
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for repeatable AWS deployments, automating provisioning and configuration processes
- Support the migration of Windows-based workloads to AWS and troubleshoot related infrastructure issues
Required Qualifications:
- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting AWS cloud environments
- Strong Windows Server administration and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Experience configuring cloud networking, routing, firewalls, and security groups
- Ability to troubleshoot complex application and cloud infrastructure issues
