Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance reliability across various cloud environments, the full-time Principal Cloud Engineer will design and maintain automation tools, improve incident management processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation and tooling to reduce operational toil
- Actively participate in the incident-management lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and follow-through
- Partner with service owners to ensure production readiness and align reliability investments with business priorities
Required qualifications
- Experience in a production-facing SRE role within a complex SaaS environment
- Strong technical judgment in distributed systems, multi-cloud environments, and Kubernetes
- Proficient in establishing SRE principles, including SLOs, error budgets, and incident response practices
- Experience leading high-pressure incidents and communicating with technical teams and stakeholders
- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows for incident management and reliability engineering
