Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting MEDCHART's cloud production and database management, the full-time Cloud Engineer will work remotely to assist with cloud migration, environment modernization, and SQL database maintenance while collaborating with external partners for system connectivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cloud migration planning and implementation, and cloud environment modernization
- Support MEDCHART DBA in monitoring and maintaining SQL databases, including disaster recovery and backup monitoring
- Collaborate with external partners to authorize and troubleshoot connections to other systems
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in a technical field
- BS in a technical field or equivalent relevant experience; MS preferred
- Active Secret Clearance (NACI / ANACI / Tier 3)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and cloud migration planning for Government or DoD systems
- Proficiency in PowerShell and scripting for cloud and database management
