Job Summary
To support the development of scalable cloud solutions, the fully remote Cloud Engineer will design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS while collaborating with software engineers in an Agile environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services on AWS
- Assist in migrating existing software applications to cloud environments
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability, recommending improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience working with AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, RDS)
- 2+ years of experience with at least one programming language: Python, Scala, Go, TypeScript, or JavaScript
- 2+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Agile development workflows and tools such as Jira and Confluence
