Job Summary
Focused on enterprise-level design and engineering solutions, the full-time Cloud Engineer II will manage and maintain complex public and private cloud infrastructures, ensuring performance, security, and scalability while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies and optimize cloud performance and cost-efficiency through continuous monitoring
- Create and manage automation scripts for efficient deployment and scaling of cloud resources while documenting cloud systems and processes
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma required; a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred
- Relevant certification in a major cloud platform is required, to be obtained within the first year of employment
- 7+ years of industry experience, preferably in large enterprise environments, with proven experience as a Cloud Engineer
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, automation tools, and security best practices
