Cloud Engineer III
Job Summary
To support critical federal initiatives, the remote Cloud Engineer III will design, implement, automate, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure primarily in Cloud.gov and Azure environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and deploy robust cloud solutions using Cloud.gov and Azure to address client needs
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and availability
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect cloud environments
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Cloud.gov, Azure, etc.)
- Expert-level knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security measures
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools, particularly Terraform
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to successfully complete a federal Public Trust background investigation
