Job Summary
Focused on deploying and supporting cloud infrastructures, the full-time Cloud Engineer III will manage VMware ESXi environments, troubleshoot operating systems, and ensure system continuity while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy and support VMware ESXi and similar technologies across various hardware platforms
- Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux platforms using diagnostic tools
- Plan and execute system maintenance activities, including hardware/software upgrades and capacity monitoring
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
- Seven or more years of progressive IT engineering experience
- Advanced experience deploying and managing private cloud environments using VMware vCenter Server and ESXi
- Advanced understanding of network virtualization technologies and various protocols/services
- US Citizenship is required due to federal customer contracts
