Cloud Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading a cross-functional team of engineers and administrators, the full-time remote Cloud Engineering Director will manage cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-efficient operations while meeting service levels and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and systems administrators, establishing best practices across cloud environments
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of multi-cloud infrastructure, collaborating with leadership to align cloud strategy with security and performance goals
• Provide operational leadership, managing day-to-day workflows and ensuring SLA performance for cloud operations

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, with at least 5 years in cloud engineering or architecture
• Proven leadership experience managing remote teams and ownership of SLA-driven performance
• Extensive experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, and related cloud platforms
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible
