Cloud Engineering Director
Job Summary
Overseeing the delivery of IT services and software engineering development, the full-time salaried Sr. Director of Cloud Engineering & Support will manage a team and budget while ensuring high availability systems and effective vendor relationships in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain high availability systems, ensuring integration of technology for maximum efficiency and customer experience
- Manage IT application support and oversee the HelpDesk, maintaining service levels and quality assurance for IT software and equipment rollouts
- Develop collaborative relationships with business leaders to drive IT transformation and corporate strategy while managing IT Cloud integration with current business applications
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant work experience with proven leadership in critical projects and cross-functional efforts
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Excellent hands-on knowledge of a wide range of Cloud technologies, including network, server, storage, and security
- Strong understanding of ITIL, SDLC, Dev/Ops, and cloud services
- Experience with compliance programs such as PCI, NIST, or HIPAA
