Cloud Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and execution for cloud engineering efforts, the full-time remote Cloud Engineering Director will oversee the cloud solutions team, ensuring the design, development, and lifecycle management of CIS cloud products across multiple cloud service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term cloud engineering strategy for all CIS cloud products and services
• Lead capacity planning and team structure design to support organizational growth and product complexity
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of cloud-based products, ensuring alignment with security and operational excellence

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or product development
• 4+ years of experience leading technical teams, including managing managers or architect-level contributors
• Demonstrated expertise in multiple cloud service provider environments
• Proficiency with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Jenkins
